We worked in the textile industry for many years. So we know that the textile industry is one of the biggest polluters. We thought and thought about how we can do our part to make the production of fabrics more sustainable. And that’s how the idea for seabunny came about.
At Seabunny, we print all of our fabrics with the digital printing process. Did you know that this allows us to reduce water consumption by up to 90 percent and electricity consumption by up to 30 percent?
What’s more, we print on demand. This means that the customer’s fabric is not printed until he has ordered it. This means there is no overproduction and we save important resources. Resources of fabric, colors, electricity and water.
In our store you can also find fabrics made from recycled polyester. Did you know that for the production of one yard of fabric a total of 12 plastic bottles are used? You can find a lot of more information about the manufacturing process on our Sustainability page.
At Seabunny we reduce our waste. At Perfect Match you will be able to find options for combinations of fabrics that we have rescued from our production, thinking about the infinite possibilities and combinations that these fabrics can create.
